The intervention is provided in the home by trained therapists and parents during natural play and daily routines. It's is a relationship-based intervention, and involves the parents and families.
Pivotal Response Training (PRT) is a natural teaching methodology based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). ABA PLUS, Inc. uses PRT to teach skills such as communication and eye contact using pivotal behaviors. PRT allows parents and staff to teach the child following their lead in a natural environment.
Discrete Trial Training (DTT) is a teaching method developed by O. Ivar Lovaas at University of California, Los Angeles. DTT breaks teaching down into discrete steps and trials to increase success and learning. DTT has been researched and shown to be an effective method of teaching children with Autism and other related disorders.
"Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) offers an alternative means of communication through the use of visuals. Parents and children are taught in stages how to initiate requests and develop more complex expressive language. PECS is often used with children that have a limited vocal repertoire and helps children increase interest in initiating communication and develop the means to communicate with others.

ABA Plus uses an electronic data collection system to collect data. As per Treatment plan all goals are updated in the system by core clinical team. Therapist working with kids collect all data electronically in real time with accuracy.
Parent training and enablement is essential part of ABA Plus treatment approach. Clinical team meets with parents on weekly basic to help them understand basic ABA principles and involve them in skills acquisitions program.
ABA Plus team schedule monthly team meeting, including patents, to review overall progress , address concerns and implement new intervention plan as needed.
Parent portal access is provided to all clients to track and monitor each goal in detail. Portal also provides information about team and schedules.

Founded with the mission of providing results-oriented Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders. ABA Plus apply a unique approach to ensure each children reach their full potential through individualized ABA services.
ABA Plus was founded by Suddha Mukhopadhyay, mother of a special need kid, with the objective of sharing knowledge and experience with other families. Suddha has extensive experience in working with kids of different age group and severity (ranging from mild to severe/ aggressive) in different settings. Her experience includes completing individualized Functional Behavioral Assessment, Behavior Intervention Plan, training Class room teachers and aides about different principles of ABA.
Sofia earned her Master of Science degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Northeastern University. She is an experienced Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst and enjoys collaborating with all persons, gathering thorough information to ensure a treatment plan is highly individualized while utilizing the latest evidence-based interventions. Sofia loves seeing a newly developed skill generalized into the natural setting.

Nic completed both his Bachelors in Psychology and his ABA course work at CSU Stanislaus and then completed his MS in Psychology from the University of Phoenix. He received his BCBA 4 years ago. He has worked in the ABA field for 16 years - 15 of which were with the same company where he had the opportunity to work with hundreds of clients from 14 months old to 27 years of age in a variety of roles - including as a regional director. When he is not working he enjoys running and participating in activities with his children.
Danahlynn completed her BA in Child Development at CSUEB and her MA in ABA from ASU. She has worked in the ABA field for 4 years. She recently passed her BCBA exam in 2020. When she is not working she likes to cook, travel, and spend time with her family.
Paul has been working in the field of ABA with a focus on children and teens on the Autism Spectrum for 7+ years. He studied psychology and statistics as an undergrad in California State University: East Bay. He acquired a Master of Science degree in psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis at Perdue Global University. In his tenure as a behavior technician and behavior analyst, Paul had the opportunity to work with diverse populations across a wide variety of ages, demographics, and needs. As a clinician he always seeks to grow and improve and always put clients first. When Paul am not working clients, he enjoys watching movies and cooking for his family.
